Andrea Doria Survivor Recalls His Plight

Joe Griffith was 17 and a passenger on Andrea Doria when it collided with Stockholm off of Nantucket on 25 July 1956. In the new video below, Griffith, now 70, recalls clinging to a railing for almost two hours in heavy fog and darkness, waiting for someone to tell him what to do.
